![]() Then there is meter which plays an important part for you and the other player in making some moves safe so they Can keep pressure (Prc and rrc mostly) and yrc as options to get them off. If he keeps pressuring you with plus on block moves you need to Shield to get some space, eventually you Will have enough Space to jump out, abare or have some option to get them the fuck off you. Even if you cant combo out of it you interrupt the pressure, at worst you are back to neutral. More Often than not the opponent needs to take a risk to Open you up, overheads and Lows are usually minus on block and mean the end of your opponents Turn given That you have a fast enough botton to interrupt their pressure. ![]() So, What you need to do is actually know frame data, knowing What in your opponents defence is true pressure and What is not, recognize frame traps, etc etc etc. Its massively match up dependent and player dependent. I just wanna be able to feel like I have a chance of reaching floor 7 or 8. Does anyone have any resources for improving on things like this? Like videos, posts, discords, or like maybe someone could look at some replays of mine and tell me where I went wrong and how to fix it? Idk anything helps really. The problem is I have no idea what I need to do really like I guess I could grind out anti air combos but I feel like that won't really fix my problem. I don't have amazing shield pressure and I feel like I never truly know when it's my turn when I'm being pressured on my shield and I usually just guess when my opponent will try to do an overhead and yah I punish it sometimes but I also never get a combo out of it so I just get pressured again. I'm a ky player and I feel like my issues are on shield. I've been playing GG for a while and have been non stop grinding GG strive before and after work.
